Walt Canes — Shipping Policy

Thanks for shopping with Walt Canes. Here's what to expect once you place an order.

1. Processing Time

Each cane is handcrafted and carefully inspected before it ships. Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days of purchase. During busy periods (holidays, sales events), processing may take slightly longer — we'll note any delays on the Site if they come up.

Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major U.S. holidays.

2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Times

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address and package weight, using live carrier rates — there is no flat shipping fee.

These are estimates, not guarantees — actual delivery times can vary based on your location, the carrier, and (for international orders) customs processing.

3. Where We Ship

We currently ship within the United States and to the following international destinations via DHL Express:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

If you're located outside of these countries and would like to place an order, contact us at waltwoodcanes@gmail.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

3a. International Orders — Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees charged by your country's customs office. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your order total or shipping cost at checkout. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict what they may be — please check with your local customs office for more information before ordering if you'd like to know in advance.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow your package's journey. If you don't receive tracking information within 5 business days of placing your order, please reach out to us.

5. Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, customs (for any international orders), or other circumstances beyond our control. If your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we'll help track it down.

6. Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbors and your local carrier facility first, as packages are sometimes marked delivered slightly before arrival. If you still can't locate it, contact us at waltwoodcanes@gmail.com within 7 days and we'll help resolve the issue.

We are not liable for packages that are confirmed delivered by the carrier but lost or stolen after delivery, though we're happy to help you file a claim with the carrier.

7. Damaged Packages

If your cane arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at waltwoodcanes@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you — see our Refund Policy for details.

8. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible — we can make changes only if the order hasn't shipped yet.
